With a price tag of £817,000 (approx $1.13m) this is one of the most maximalist watches we have ever seen. It is over 50 carat diamond and been rightly named The Bulgari Octo L'Originale Blue Full Baguette of Diamonds.

With an astounding 1,172 all baguette diamonds across the piece (an accomplishment in itself), the stones accumulate to an overwhelming 50.25 carats.

On the case, bracelet, and crown there is 979 baguette cut diamonds at VVS quality, amounting to 42.51 carats. On the dial, you will see 192 baguette cut diamonds at VVS quality and one round rose cut diamond at VVS quality, totalling 7.74 carats. Fully executed to an outstanding spec this watch is one of the biggest statement pieces you can buy.

Underneath the full diamond surface this watch features Bulgari's signature Octo model with an extremely clear and crisp 44mm diameter white gold base. The extravagant timepiece is powered with Caliber BVL 191, has an automatic base manufacture movement that beats at a modern 4 Hz and offers a perfect 42-hour power reserve.

To some this watch may be seen as completely insane, yet at the 2020 Golden Globes ceremony in L.A., Nick Jonas wore a The Bulgari Octo L'Originale Blue Full Baguette of Diamonds under his blue shirt.

But don’t think that the Octo L’Originale is just a beautiful exterior. It could be argued that this is in fact more a sporty watch than a dress watch. This Bulgari has a water resistance of 10 atmospheres (100 meters) and the Caliber BVL 191 build is very robust with a full bridge over the balance wheel.
